Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan

Yogi Bhajan brought Kundalini Yoga to the West in the late 1960s. Yogi Bhajan was a spiritual teacher and extraordinary visionary. He could see that people needed tools to transition from the Piscean Age to the Aquarian Age (circa 2011). The Aquarian age is dominated by information (overload). The demands on the human brain and nervous system have never been as great as they are today.

As a result (and on a positive note) there has been huge movements towards personal transformation, self awareness, self improvement, yoga, meditation, Eastern philosophy, Eastern medicine and healing to cope with everyday stress and lifestyle.

Kundalini Yoga is transformational practise. It will focus on dynamic breathing techniques (pranayam), movement (asana) and sound (mantra) to bring self awareness and flow of kundalini energy through our energy centres (chakras).
